very pionty see through nose for a hound mate and very solid body and a lot of thickness in the tail too mate and very sharpe fork in the tail ! and very sharp pectoral fins .

i have to agree with boycie on this, snout , markings on the side, shape and form of fins are all characteristics of pup tope, also the pelvic fin is larger in a smoothound than in a tope
