Bait: herring squid sandeel started off frozen and finished up still frozen..
Rigs:single hook rigs
Results: whiting, poor cod and pouting

ended up just gong up the road to spiddle pier as roads were rather icy, we kept it local, even leaving the estate the wheels were going all over.. finally made it to the pier to find the full length iced over.. so a slow drive down to the end and managed to not end up in the water..
all wrapped up and fishing away the bites too k their time to arrive but obnce the fish started to feed the bites were nearly instantaneous as they hit the water.. but only a few fish made it to the hook, so not too many to count...
this is my first year of fishing with out a blank
as it will probably be my last session this year 
cant complain though myself and gara30 have 5 gigs in the next 10 days
finished up as ice was covering the car by this stage, slowly reversed back down the pier and managed to hit a patch of ice that we couldnt go back or forth
so i hopped out and gave a slight push and the car was moving again, i decided to hold onto the car and do a bit of ice skating along side... someone had the idea of speeding up a bit 
best craic i've ever had 
roll on next year.. (ah its only 11 days away)
