wicklow 13/12

People:me dad and craig

Duration:morn 10 till one evening half five till ten

Tide:in and out

Weather:grand

Bait:lug crab mac

Rigs:three hook flappers

Results:morn dad got a nice bass about two lb
evening thirteen schoolies one flounder five rockling one pouting one codling
dad snook off this morning when some of us had to study and the old guy come back with his bass anyway the less said about that the better . after stroung whinging got him to go back to the same mark . we arrived at half five and straight into the schoolies and good crack till we left but no more like dad got in the morning i think he bought it some where
any way i was tryin to put the pic up and couldnt but some of the lads have helped me and i think it might work now so not to be out done im goin to try and put up the one i caught a while ago in waterford

so the aul fella got him self a bass on the sly youd never be up to him yeh id say he bought it hes been hurtiing since the last lesson you gave him so just humor him and let him tell all the lads he caught it and watch how it will get bigger each time he tells the story and how he was a half hour fighting it .

whats a schoolie?
is that short for schoolie bass?,
whats the difference
between that and plain old bass?

Schoolie is just a small bass, like codling are small cod :)
