BigPhil,
Pictures to prove it!
We had very strong westerly gales the last few days and the seas were wild!
We have seen this before in Kilkee and Doughmore following severe storms.
We see a lot of dead Trigger Fish if the Temp drops suddenly and stays low over a few days.
I think I saw a photo in the Irish Times some time ago where a very big conger was washed up on some Kerry Beach following a storm.
Kilkee beach is the same at the moment with some dead Trigger Fish that I could not catch all summer!

BigPhil,
Never a Conger but almost everything else!
Must come from offshore I guess.
