Report:just decided to try another spot along salthill, we put baits everywhere, far and close. There wasnt much action for a while, just the odd coalie coming from distance. I decided to keep two baits at distance and put a flapper in close onto a little sand bar and the action started, triples of coalies to 29cms and whiting to 25 cms coming in most casts, then i got a nice little poor cod, then a double of a small 5 bearded and a whiting, the lads were getting a couple of whiting and coalies every now and again. We all had big baits out as far as we could hoping something bigger would show, not tonight unfortunately, maybe tomorrow we will get something bigger.. kaylem ended up with 4 fish, cian finished on 5 and finished on 18 not a bad little session, going to try another spot tomorrow hopefully it will throw up something that will put a nice bend on the rod
