trout as bait

#1 Post by pookie5488 »

we tip they use in scotland were i do alot of fishing is to use trout as tip bait just same as mac a fingernail size bit. It seems to get nice big flatties. Have used it in the wigtownshire area of scotland and that the nearest point to us over here so dnt see why it not work for us.

Away scotland this weekend again but would like to see if works so if in tesco get a fillet of trout and let me know how you get on.

I do know at ballycastle on the boats they use trout for the big scate
