greystones soutth beach 9/12.

People:me and will

Duration:15.00 19.00

Tide:17.00

Weather:showers

Bait:lug squid mackeral

Rigs:pennel pully 2 and 3 hook flappers

Results: 1 bass 8 colding 7coalies




Report:staretd fishing 15.00 into fish stright away.small codling and coalies 3 at a time.will had a nice coalie of 39cm and i had one at 35cm.will got a small bass.then a big wave caught us of guard and knocked over wills stand and took his rod out .searched for about an hour but no luck.so any one around greystone finds a zziplex and a daiwa mag washed up any where please let us know thanks.

thats not nice :| talk about a sickner :cry: thats the reason i hang a bucket under my tripod with my leads in it ,and a few rocks if its really windy ,look on the bright side at least it wasnt one of yea that got washed away :!:

all is not lost, at a competition 1 month ago a you lad lost his hm surf and reel to a wave on 5 mile point, turn up washed up on newscastle beach the next day :shock:

my god the wicklow area seems to like taken those zziplex rods that at least 3 in the last while i wonder is there a guy in a wet suit just watching and then he pulls. and you get an add on the site zziplex and mag surplas to requirments lol
im sorry to hear of your loss as iv lost gear myself not only is it the expense but your rod is special and even a new one always feels different i know some will laugh at this but iv had a beach rod for 30yrs its battered and bruised but its my luckey rod and nothing would replace it if i lost it so i hope you get yours back

Great fishing there bud! I seen some 2nd had zziplexs for sale in the back of Kstaffs car if you want your one back id get in touch with him :D think paddy does the snatching while staffo does the distracting and AG waits in the car :mrgreen:

and so the conspiricy theory starts was it fishface that lost one in wicklow harbour?he was catching fish all around him with his special rod and bang gone havent seen a report with loads of fish since has willy been catching loads of fish as of late?
