Re: Zziplex Primo Hi Flex or Zziplex M4 13ft 5"?
Had my Primo Hi-Flex out yesterday for its maiden voyage and it is trully excellent, very easy to load up and man can it send a lead out there, the recovery is nothing short of amazing on this one, with the reel mounted 8inches up on the butt it felt very well balanced.
It took everything i could throw at it on 150g/125g, though it did feel like it was starting to struggle a tad on the 175g at full tilt but still managed to put it a very long way.
It feels like no other zzipy i have cast before, the tip is extremely sensitive considering its full carbon and has a mid-section that just begs to be hit harder and harder, the lightweight and slim butt (26mm) with its progressive is just a joy to use, the rods unique action allows you to feel every movement of the lead during the cast and when you start to hit it it tightens up quick smart and simply launches the lead into orbit.
One of the best zzipys ive ever used and i can see this one becoming one of his biggest sellers,, roll on the end of the month to get it on the court.
