Bunagee pier Donegal 06.12.09

#1 Post by last cast lad »

People:me & mick

Duration:7.00-11.00pm

Tide:high at 9.00

Weather:very blustery

Bait:lug, mackeral

Rigs:pulley, flapper

Results:pouting, ????, pollack

Report:decided to head to this deep water mark in search of a codling and spent the first two hours feeding crabs, so we were begining to think we had travelled an hour to the wrong mark :( this was only made worse by a phonecall from derek and gordan to say they'd spent the afternoon at our secound choice mark and landed about almost 20 fish, coalies, dogs, flounder and a codling :x :x :x (well done lads  ) Thankfully mick then landed a few pouting and what we think is either a poor cod or a plump codling :?: :?: :?:
I only had one fish to show for my evening but it did give a good account for itself and made a pb for me from the shore :D :D :D :D 59cm pollack 5lb :D :D :D
