Well done to all the lads especialy Dennis on his convincing win,and also to Heffo and new member Gordy on catching a couple of decent codling. Also respect to Drummer who arrived half way through and still managed to win a bottle of champagne. I Didnt have the best of days myself fishing wise but enjoyed the craic and relaxed atmosphere of this comp.

have to say lads great day out, some great fish caught , a FREE comp with lots of prizes , great craic with the lads what more could you want, think there was 13 prizes in total, well done to every one in the club,
really looking forward to next year, if this year is anything to go by
big well done to the two new anglers on the day graham and gordon, graham finished in the top five and gordon had some good fish including a 47 cm codling on the east coast  8)

Great stuff lads. Sorry I didnt get to any of the comps this year. Hopefully next year will get home a bit more.

Did ye get the codling on the rough ground or out on the clean?

Congrats on the win Dennis.

they where in close 50 yards out or so their was alot of big clumps of weed around and spots that are nornally snag free had new snags on em ,alot of sand has been washed of the beach 5-6 foot ,that probably accounts for it?
