Report:Got a few lads together for a session, planned on fishing an adjacent beach but we realised there was too much weed. Myself and midget moved to the diving boards while the others fished by the changing rooms. Myself and midget wanted codling while kaylem was after doggies and the others were after anything! I put a flapper out to one side and blasted a bigger bait out to the other.Alex went for the all or nothing aproach with just blasting one rod out. Igot about 6 fish then the others started to get a few. I was getting a couple of whiting at distance, until i Finally got a little knock and brought in 25 cm codling
.Kaylem then got a nice long spined sea scorpion out far.Cian and jamie were getting plenty of coalies and whiting.Alex got a couple of whiting and coalies at distance also.The tide started to drop so we decided to move to a slipway on the way home. Did the same here as we did earlier, fished in close and out far. I got a triple shot of whiting and coalies 1st and second cast as the others were getting doubles. Then i decided i would put out a conger rod instead. Jamie then got a nice little poor cod. The rain started to pour down and the tide started to get very low. The bites started to slow down. I got a few more whiting at distance but they were scarce in close. Until we were leaving and i pulled up my conger rod to find a littlw greedy whiting caught by the teeth in my bait elastic haha. Overall it was a good nites fishing. The fish were small but extreamly plentyfull. We got 100 fish in total, myself: 23 whiting,14 coalies and 1 codling.
Jamie : 10 whiting, 10 coalies, 1 poor cod.
Alex: 1 coalie, 2 whiting.
Kaylem: 16 whiting,13 coalies, 1 sea scorpion.
Cian: 5 coalies, 4 whiting
Very enjoyable session, nice have a few people out!
