since it was such a lovely day myself and john headed to a nice wee beach aiming for flats the wether was lovely and calm , 2 hours before high had set up and bait out fairly big waves but thankfully 6 oz grippers held the ground .John was the first in with a lovely flounder after about a hour and then a plaice both on mack 2 keepers the weather started to change . the wind and rain picked up then i had a double rockling woohoo blank saved and then another rockling the wind got so bad our rod rests kept getting blowing and then the rain started blowing upwards so we decided to knock it on the head a fair bit of seaweed about but generally not to bad .john has tomorrows dinner sorted and it looks like fish fingers for me but a great evening till the weather changed
