People:myself, kaylemf

Duration:3 hours

Tide:rising

Weather:westerly wind, showers

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:flappers, clipped downs

Results:codling, flounder, whiting, coalfish

Report:Tonight was my 5th night in a row fishing, going to take a couple of days rest now! ha fishing started off slow, all we were getting was masses of weed! when will it leave us alone?! kaylem was first to catch with a nice double of a codling and a whiting. It was his first codling so he was very happy with that! nothing much happened untill i got a double shot of coalies, then kaylem got a whiting, found a small patch close in with not too much weed in it put a 3 hook flapper into it and pulled out a nice plump flounder of 37 cms! Kaylem then got a coalie while i got a flounder and whiting double in close. The weed started to invade my little weedlessish patch of the beach so the baits had to go out further and the rods up high on the tripod over the weeds, pulled out another coalie or two then we packed up and went home

Theres plenty this side of the bay, there just in so close to the weed its hard to get them, once ya find a relatively weedless patch your good to go!
