People: myself Chrisfeeney30

Duration:3.5 hours

Tide:rising then dropping

Weather: westerly wind couple of showers

Bait: squid

Rigs: pennel flappers

Results: myself: 8 coalies
chrisfeeney30: 15 coalies 3 whiting 1 flounder

Report: hi . . . first report: we decided to try a beach we havnt fished before, went down to be greeted with a massive amount of seaweed! anyway set up and first cast nothing for chris and i lost my rig so i threw on a pennel, second cast chris got a whiting and then i got a coalie on the pennel, decided to move up the beach where there wasnt as much weed, the tide was still rising and Chris got a nice double of a flounder and a coalie, i was picking up the odd coalie while chris was getting doubles, coalies were all a decent size reaching up to 26cm, Chris got a nice bite and he reeled in and there was a flounder and two coalies on the end but unfortunutely for him the flounder just got off the hook at the end! anyway, last cast came and we threw the rods out and we each got a coalie on it! overall a very enjoyable evening without getting soaked  :) pictures to follow...
