at last!after ten days enforced abstainance due to the bloody weather, we finally got out,we hit lecanvey as the weather was not good with strong south westerlys and driving rain and this pier offered the best protection,we were set up by 8pm and the weather gods took pity on us and the rain stopped result! the doggies came thick and fast,with two to me on the first cast and a big pregnant female to jason,it was a doggie a cast for the next three hours with some doubles thrown in! overall we got about thirty odd, and as a pleasent suprise there were a few whiting thrown in for good measure! unuasual for this venue but with the storms over the last few days they must have got lost but there were a dearth of the usual coalies and pollock,no sign of them,but i did get a rockling,which is normal for this spot,and jason had a strap but lost it at the pier wall.Good nights fishing.considering!!

brutal the thing i have caught for november was the swine flu
herself is threatening to leave me, if i even think about going fishing
so i am going to chance it tomorrow , getting cabin fever
