Report: Started off at waterfoot, and there was small bits of weed in the water but gladly wasnt too bad and cleared away after first hour. I was first of the mark with a whiting a new species for me
, we were all getting a mix of cod and whiting with a few double shots threw in so rab and i decided to target a dog to get me another new species after 5 mins rab had a double shot of dogs and i got my first dog but not the last of the nite 
jh had a few more whiting and we decided to try carnlough on the way home but too much weed on the beach had us goin to ballgalley instead and it proved to be fishing well , jh was first of mark with the only coalie and another codling and rab had a poor cod + codling double while i again was in the dogs 
after a few more dogs and a whiting and codling we decided to head to bed.not a bad night with myself adding 3 new species to the list.
This was my first proper session, i'm basically a beginner and had only caught mackerel before. So 3 new species in one night and i was happy as a knob on a door. Good to get my fishing underway properly, thanks to the help of my mate rab and his dad who kindly took me out. Look forward to the next outing.
you'll not be long in notching up the species at this rate and fair play to rab for getting you out and into the fish
