People:myself and cian

Duration:3hours ish

Tide:dropping

Weather:s**t..thunder, lightening, wind, rain and cold

Bait:mack and squid

Rigs:cliped downs and flappers

Results:me: coalfish, whiting, flounder
cian: coalfish, whiting

Report:Arrived at the mark to find a very high tide, rough seas and literally no beaches! Off the prom it was untill the tide dropped! started off nice and dry but turned really fast, thunder and lightening followed by hailstones and torrential rain was thrown from the heavens! anyway to the fishing, it was quiet enough, no fish coming in for a while, decided i cant blank i said id throw a long 3 hook flapper with size 4 hooks baited with squid and mackeral into the surf. the weed was everywhere and made fishing close in extreamly hard but i managed to pul out a small flounder of 26cms! :D cian got a double shot of a coalie and whiting on his flapper out a bit further. then i got a bigger whiting at distance. weed started geting very bad so all fishing in close ceased. Then i blasted a pully out and was rewarded. after this the weather got so bad that i was getting wet through my floatation suit! :o :o :o It was only cians second time sea fishing so he did very well to stick it out! some of the toughest conditions iv fished in in a long time....was fun though, and got a few fish for our troubles! :D

Fair play lads, I heard the thunder and hailstones last night and was bloody glad I was inside. Ye're feckin nuts!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
