Culdaff Beach 15/11/09
myself and the brother , tide coming in , fished from 2 until half 6 . cracker day out , but no surf , got set up and first hour we both caught middle`n size plaice , then followed by 5 pollock none over a pound , went quiet for an hour and then i caught another small plaice .
. all in all a good day .

Nice one bokofinn, well done on the resuts. I really enjoy catching flatties off beaches. Also good as you dont loose too much gear......

Looking forward to Culdaffs open this sunday. Would be nice to see a good turnout. In saying that the weather doesn't look to good for the end of the week. Culdaff always seems to be well sheltered especially in a southerly wind.

Sounds like a nice wee session - out of the last 6 times I've been to Culdaff, I've caught one small dab, been with 2-3 people each time and fishing has been terribly poor.
Now in saying that, we have seen quite a lot of large mullet on the prowl which haven't been interested in our baits and lures, so next time I might just bring a loaf of bread or fly rod and give them a go

we where out ther last week and caught about a dozen coalie between us in culdaff , but its very hit and miss for myself . don`t know if doing right or wrong , but sure i will learn all that through time

we where out on tuesday night and had a good few flounder, whiting and colies. fish a cast. few doubles and a triple shot. mixture of sizes few of the colies over 30cm. and the flounder up to 29cm
Sinking Fast.
