Courtown S.A.A Wexford Harbour

#1 Post by trout hunter jnr »

Went to my first sea angling contest yesterday with high hopes of catching many afish  due to harsh weather conditions, Joe decided to change the venue instead of Ballinesker to the quays of Wexford Harbour. To put a long story short,me and my dad(on seperate pegs) caught no fish   and all I know was that a lad closer to the bridge caught a fair few and a man last on the right caught 8 fish. Apologies for the uncertainty of names. Does anyone know what are the official results.
Fisherman's prayer:
God grant that I may live to fish, For another rainy day.
But when my final cast is made, I then most humbly pray.
When nestled in your landing net, As I lay peacefully asleep.
You'll smile at me and judge, That I'm "good enough to keep"!

trout hunter jnr i was the guy on the end peg i finished third, petwex was next to me and he won and joe byrne was second not sure of the rest of the results. Fishing was slow probably due to all the fresh water in the harbour but ballinesker would have been a lot worse, better luck next time
