People:me and mick

Duration: 7.00pm-1.00am

Tide:rising to full in

Weather:mild for nov, calm

Bait:everything

Rigs:flapper, pulley

Results:2 flounder, 11 dogfish, coalfish, pouting, rockling

Report:had one of those spur of the moment fishing trips, arranged as soon as I seen the bad forecast for secound half of week. First headed to a local beach which produced two flounder 29+36cm, surf was pushing across the beach and threatening to knock over tripods regularly so we headed to the comfort of rathmullen pier, the place was alive with doggies but then as tide began to ease everything stopped dead, Still beats sitting at home wishing you were out fishing!
