SALTHILL 28th october 09

People:myself, my brother and alex

Duration:6.15pm - 10.00pm

Tide:rising but didnt move much for about 2 hours

Weather:south easterly wind, dry

Bait:mackeral

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results:myself 9 whiting, 6 coalfish, 1 poor cod, 1 doggie
brother 5 whiting, 4 coalfish
alex- coalfish...he can fill in what he got.




Report: was a good evening, plenty of fish around. my rod was first to go, a little poor cod was on the end. then the whiting and coalfish started to show we were getting a couple of doubles. then i got a better bite and it turned out to be a doggie! more coalies and whiting were caught after that. alex arrived at about 9 and got a coalie on his first cast. he decided to stay on so i dunno what else he got! overall an enjoyable evenings fishing!

nice mix of species guys well done 8) 8)
with this cold weather moving in, i recon we will be seeing a lot more whiting at our marks. :roll:
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
right i'am off for a swally!!!!!!! so were's the F***'n purse!!!!!!!
