Painted Rock. Co. Antrim Sat 18 October 2009

#1 Post by rab01 »

People:Me and Tommy

Duration:8.30am-12.30pm

Tide:Rising

Weather:Sunny, bit of a chill to the wind.

Bait:Ragworm

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:Pollock, Coalies, Wrasse, Codling and a Dab.

Report:Another great day at the Painted Rock! Seriously lost count of how many fish we caught, the tip bells were ringing all day. This mark has produced so many species of fish for me this season, its a wee gem of a mark. Most fish were counters as well so we were well happy.

The jet skiers were there Al, but they tend not to get too close to the Painted rock.
