wicklow 17-10-09 Ten Species

#1 Post by mickeyfish »

People: Me and my little Son Michael

Duration: 1130 - 1600

Tide: From top Down

Weather: Like a summers day

Bait: Rag, Lug, Squid and mackeral

Rigs: mini rigs and 3 hook paternosters

Results: Dogs (2), Dabs(3), Cod(2), Pollock(8), Coalies(37), Whiting (1), Pouting(2), ballan wrasse (2), Corkwing(6), Dragonette(2)

Report: Myself and the little fella went out for a mini bash today, after seeing eyesreilys reports and consulting eric on a producing venue it had to be wicklow harbour. we could,t have picked a better day it was smashing out,

Firstly i set up the big rod with lug & mac out about 50 yards, then i start messing at the edge with a spinning rod with the little fella, it was just fish after fish and to take a break i would go fish the big rod for a while, I also got my first dragonette from the shore today.
