Old Bawn 9/10/09

People: BigSod, Damo, Tony

Duration:9-1

Tide: Rise / Drop

Weather: Damp

Bait: Rag, Lug, Crab, Squid, mac

Rigs: Pullys, Flappers

Results:Bass, Flounder, Codling, lots of weed




Report:

We knew there would be weed on the wexford beaches but took a chance and headed down anyway, armed with big juice worms hopes were high for a good night first few casts showed that there was some weed but nothing bad,

Sod was in first with a nice flounder and he kept this going all night with a little baby bass now and again showing intersest in his bait,

Damo on his first cast got a nice codling and for the rest of the night nothing really happened just pulling weed of his line so i think he started to smoke it or maybe i was smelling something else :lol:

I got a few bass in close and far out no size in them few nice flounders too... i think all the biggies are down with cortaz being held hostage :wink: anyway weed got too much it was more like work then pleasure fishing so we packed up and got the fcuk outa there..Just like to wish Sod a happy birthday as he is 30 TODAY :wink:

Nice session lads 8) ... anytime i fish that mark there's always weed on it can throw up some nice fish though..
