jesus frank, fair play for staying calm and getting out of it. im glad im reading this here and not about it in a paper.

fair play on the ton, it wasnt too long ago you hit the 50. your probably looking to hit the 150mark now before the end of the year.

again, glad to hear you got over it and went back fishing again.

I can vouch for the auto-jackets. I was stepping off the boat in Cork harbour into the tender last year when I capsized the tender and hit my head on the boat on the way in to the drink. I was out cold and my first memory of the event was surfacing courtesy of my crewsaver, Thank God. I can laugh about it but I don't even go rock fishing without it now.

yep some of the cork coast is deadly a few spots in west cork the same
its not the water density you need to worry about its the current and its like dragging a ton of weight when you
try to swim .i carry a knife in my waders pocket rather lose a pair of waders than my life

i can teach you to swim i used to teach swimming back in the day :?: and i was a all ireland champion :D

That was the best thing to do - it got my mind off if, although I must admit I was standing well away from the edge of the rocks just in case :!: :!:
