Report

We set off late and managed to get about 20 lug dug between us before the darkness hit us.

arrived at the mark and set up me with a single rod and 2 hook attractor rig and davy had 2 rods out , we were getting a few bites but not managed to connect for over an hour then just before 10 I hooked into a flounder about 30 cm (Measured me knife today), then a few more bites then Davy landed a bigger flounder just after 11pm.

a bit later Davy had a small coaly which he didnt realise was on then we had a few serious bites then it died completely so at 1.00 am we decided to call it a day.

A very enjoyable session and good craic with Davy again.

Warren

nice little report and well done on the flounders 8), big baits for big bass, at this time of the year squid is very good close in at night, use two rods one with a full joey cut several times along each flank and one with squid, you'll get one if they are there
