can you wash a flotation suit.

I got a second hand worn twice flotation suit. It was tested and got salt left on it and has turned into a few small black spots all over suit. Can it be cleaned and how.

may be a rub down with a cloth.i wouldnt try was it well thats just my opinion.may be the other lads can help better than me.

Firm that supplies our flotation suits in work recommend we use soap flakes, not detergent to wash them.
They need reproofed after washing.

it may be a bad thing but with my old penn one i just blasted it clean with a pressure washer! i reproofed it once with something, think it was called fabseal or something,it still does me fine the very odd time i use it.
