Duration:3 hrs both days


Tide:Flood, big swell


Weather:Warm fresh SW


Bait:Hard Crab, Big Shrimp



Rigs:1 Hook short dropper 18 ins. above lead.


Results:

12-09-2005

17 Ballan Wrasse to crab best 3 lbs. All returned alive.

Lost several good fish possibly Triggers, hooks bent/broken!



14-09-2005

11 Ballan Wrasse 9 on crab, 2 on shrimp

Best 3.75 lbs. All returned alive.

No sign of Triggers




Report:Fishing difficult on both days due to strong swell which made contact with bait difficult.

Nice results Bill, better than my efforts to try be a dry fly purist. 2 evenings, one fish and alot of wet gear.(and it was only a stockie)
this is my last week here, but i'll definitely be down at some stage next week for a day or two, and i'll give you a shout, i like the sounds of baltard!.......i don't wanna go back to college and not live beside the sea, if anyone has any ideas as to how i can dodge the real world for the rest of my life please pm me asap.

Why just not become Minister for the Marine? Plenty of excuses then to spend time by the sea while completely avoiding reality... :lol:
