North Down mullet 02-10-09

#1 Post by Davy Murdoch »

People:jus me :(

Duration:1.5-2hrs

Tide:moving

Weather:bloody windy

Bait:bread

Rigs:floats

Results:mullet 8)

Report:just a quick report on todays short session.
i was hoping the wind would die a bit but no such luck.it was offshore so headed out anyway.arrived at my choosen mark just after 4 and was greeted with a horrible side wind :( no point in turning back for home so i headed down to the water and saw nothing  i watched and waited for 30mins before i saw the first fish then more and more appeared
so i chucked some bread in. an hour and a half past and i hadn`t a single bite or even seen a fish take bread.then while using sunken bread i had a bite :) after a few decent runs and 5 odd mins i`d landed a nice wee mullet of 4.2lb 8)
that was all the action before it was too dark to fish....

mullet number 29 for the year and number 91 since my 1st ever back in august 2006 8) i wonder can i get another 9 before the season ends
