clare/waterford sept/oct

People:me

Duration:here and there

Tide:mixed

Weather:great

Bait:crab, pissers,razor, plugs

Rigs:

Results:conger doggies and bass




Report:was in clare for a few days tried for bass on fanore and doolin beach no luck but places looked very bassy :shock: . tried doolin pier with some razor and pissers got a small conger about 4lb then lost one over 10lb .....boy do them eels spin :lol: . was only using light gear no swivels but great fun all the same. back to west waterford thursday got a few doggies then a nice plumpm bass earlier today plugging :D

some nice fish there seanie :P the bass on the plug was a nice way to round off any trip :wink: well done man

Well done Seanie, nice bass. The water looks very clear - no problems with water clarity there after the wind on Saturday?

no frank clarity was fine but if anything it was a bit to calm, mustve covered 1.5km of the mark ....hard work and left with an arm like swarzhenegger :mrgreen: :D
