Report thought I'd try this place as it seemed ideal for some flatties but alas not to be.

Set up and left kit at rear of beach, so as not to move it too often. was getting a lot of movement on tip from what I thought was wind def not bites from fish. turned out it was bloody crabs stripping the hooks. Not one of em was big enough for the pot Damm.

stuck it out and was rewarded with a small pouting just before I packed up to go home, another frustrating session but more experience under the belt and another mark not to go back too

give it a few more gos warren,we were at your bass mark last night,only two flounder and a dog between four off us,and thats a good beach normally.so mabye just a bad night.

well done warren,don't give up on the mark just yet,i fished a mark last year maybe about 20 times and not one fish,tried the same mark this year and caught fish every time ,try different baits and different rigs and the different stages of the tides and see what happens
