garryvoe cup open competition, this saturday 26th sept at ballinwilling, hosted by cork sea anglers,penn points are available for this event.check in at ballinwilling car park from 5-5:30 pm fishing from 6-11pm.entry 15 euros...cash prizes.

Results (as much as I can remember)

35 pegs( most were full)

James Kineniry 3 dogs
Alan Mulcathy 1 dog, 2 tub gurnard
Richard Gormally 2 dogs
Jp Molloy 2 dogs


Fishing was poor. I think there were quiet a few blanks on the beach.I think that other than above there were 3/4 dogs, 3 flounder a ray and an eel or two caught in the five hours.
Well run comp all the same.

Sounds like very difficult fishing. Hopefully the Lads from Cloyne have a rethink about using this beach for the Shore MA :?:
