Argh.. just spent 20 mins typing up a cracker of a report.. then clicked one little wrong button and gone...
The guts of it were - went up to donegal with lady and best mate nad his lady- they all whined when I wasnted to go fish for justt a few hours each day so after a two fingered salute off i;d go , mainly to portsalon, a 5 min gaunt... got Lovely mack on the float, big hoors, pollock, doggies, flatties, and a couple of conger, best one 9lb 4 oz... missed a few bigger takes as by time i got to rod, they'd gone to ground..after slack line, got back hook and bait witha few teeth marks in it.. was using 10/0 meat hook to avoid gut hookups, got fish with lip/jaw hooks -easy release, minimum injury to em...
good times had by me, sad faces by whiney friends who sat back in cottage reading/napping......

well done on the conger Dáire they are a great fighting fish,if you are down this way again you can try my conger spot to see if you if you have better luck then i am having with them hope you get the double figure conger and new friends that love fishing before the year is out i agree Fishing before friends

nice conger man bit nieave of the lady bringing you to water and not expect you to fish did she think the fishing rods were just some of your luggage! ha ha you just have to buy her some book vouchers and tell her not to buy any under 2000 pages that will give you time for another trip lol wll done on the fishing
