I've been in business a good while myself, and am not suprised you havent recieved a reply to the emails you have sent.

Its far too easy for somebody not to bother replying, hoping the problem will just go away.........in my experience it doesnt :!:

I'm a great believer in just picking up the phone and ringing somebody to discuss any problems, or call into the shop wherever possible, surely the retailer wont want you to cause a scene in his shop now will he, especially if there are other customers around.

Keep us informed.

let us know the outcome of the call. if its not good, then i for one would like to know his shop web address, so i would know to stay clear of him. but in saying that i hope you get a good response and result from your call. best of luck.

Hi Guys

I just spoke with the shop and the guy was very understanding and made no fuss at all about giving me a refund. What a relief when you are expecting some 'resistance'.

Good result and thanks for all of your advice.

nice one on the result! :D been following the thread and i was expecting "restistance"from the dealer,glad he turned out to be a good un!!
