best spot on kilcoole beach??

#1 Post by Guest »

ok this is for all u guys who fish kilcoole.
now me myself have fished it plenty of times and tend to stick about 50 meters left of the railway crossing. but today i found a river drainimg onto the beach and thought this might be good. i had a couple of casts and caught nothing but i got snagged every time, so turns out its not so hot afterall.
or is it?
have anyone ever fished there?
or does everyone always fish around the railway crossing because its the best area or is it just handier than walking miles down the sand with all ur gear?
cheers

best spot is down on the point to the left, its about a mile of a walk, but its handy enough,u can walk 3/4s of the way on the laneway..its rough ground with some patches of clean shingle/sand..fish are caught at all distances, fishes well over for the nxt few months
