i rang cortaz (arthur)last night for a chat how ya going any fish etc. and he told me he got a few bass on the xlayers bang bang one after the other in a few minutes.so me after joining the xlayer gang told him i got my first xlayer bass yesterday and was looking forward to giving them another go asap so he said to me call down anyday and of course me being the shy type said what about the morning ok he said come on down and we will have a go at them.so i got him up out of bed and the kettle was put on he then pulled out the fags and im off the fags 2 weeks so i was a bit nervous smelling the smoke so i said to arthur point me in the direction and ill see you out at the mark so he did.so i got to the mark and put on the patchinko i could see fish all over the place and 3rd cast fish on i was off to a good start.in the meantime another chap came along called edgar i think hes on this site and within minutes he was into a fish and i was thinking this could be a nice session.i was waiting for the tide to drop a bit more to try the xlayers as it was a bit rough right in front of me and i didnt want to be getting snagged etc.so i waited patiently and it was worth the wait up went the xlayer and first cast fish on quick pic and back in the water 2nd cast fish on and 3rd cast fish on this was stuff of dreams for me ive heard over the years it was a fish a cast well it was my turn this morning edgar shouted at me you are on fire man good stuff.so 5 casts on the xlayer and 5 bass and that was it i didnt get a pic of the last bass i felt i was loosing to much time i was mad to get back out and to see how many i could get so 6 bass is the most i have got in a session and i am really buzzing.a big thank you to arthur for putting me on the mark and as i was packing up along comes arthur and i told him how i got on and he said to me the next time ill put you on a really good mark so ill be back to go to that really good spot soon i hope.and nice to meet edgar as well he had a few fish as well.
