Catching Sandeel

#1 Post by Conger »

Hi Lads, not to take over the post that blacker put up, wondering whats the best way to catch live sandeel, have netted before but got the wrong end of the stick due to being taller than the other 2 lads and end result of that one was me ending up very very wet   is there a distinguishing marker on sand to look out for ???????? really haven't a clue what to look out for :? :?

Regards

Seamus

I have managed to get some live sandeel when I have been digging for lug worm.
Trying to grab the wee buggers before they buried themselves back down into the sand and escape was very funny  they are very quick!
Here's a picture of ones I got in May this year. Small in size but still a great bait.

No problem mate. When are we going to get out for a session again?
When can you fit me in with your busy schedule
It doesn't even have to be for the mullet, our last mackerel session was a good laugh
This beats texting anyday, and it's cheaper!!
