Hi Lads, I don't know my flats because I never catch them!

Whatre these fellahs? caught on Wicklow pier

That's a wee plaice ya have there mate, judging by the markings alone. New species for ya?

Defo the 2nd pic, not sure on the 1st one, thought they were the same to be honest. Congrats on the new species though.

Lads can flounder sometimes have those red spots too? I've caught flaties with red spots but not as pronounced as those on the photo. Do the red spot automatically make it a plaice?

Thats not me in the first pic, the second postage stamp was mine but yes that was my flaggin, brings me back to last week! As they say.... when in Wicklow!
