Pan Rocks in Ballycastle

#1 Post by jpm123 »

Hi all
just returned from finishing the Pan rocks in Ballycastle after a break of 25yrs !!!

I was talking to a few local fishermen who told me it was good for catching Glashin and Lithe ... are these local fish types or AKA something else ??

Glashin = Coalfish
Lythe = Pollack

Majority of locals along the North Antrim coast will normally call them by these names.

If you can get the old guys up there to talk you may be able to get some good info from them about locations etc that only the locals fish.. :wink:
