North Down Mullet - 10/09/09

#1 Post by KERRY1 »

People: Myself and K2

Location: Somewhere in North Down

Tide: On the rise up to High

Bait: Bread

Weather: Sunny, warm and very light winds

Rigs: Float

Results: 1 mullet for K2

The weather was so nice that I decided that I would take a half day off work and meet k2 and go fishing.
He was already going to go to the mark we ended up at and as soon as we arrived we were glad we came, there was fish everywhere
The water was so still you could see every fish break the surface of the water and I am not joking, they where right in at the waters edge where I was standing, it was great to see :D
Without delay K2 got his waders on and began fishing.
Almost as soon as his float hit the water fish where hitting it and his bait, it was mad :)
We couldn't have been there more than ten minutes when K2 caught his fish, he was wading out quite abit and so he took it nice and slow so as not to lose it and he managed to get it onto the shore and land it safely.
Just at this point Colin C arrived, he couldn't have timed it any better. He seen for himself how many fish there was about.
A quick photograph was taken and the fish was released.
K2 continued to get loads more bites and hits but no other fish where landed.
A good session again for K2 with another nice fish caught. Well done, I am not jealous at all, I promise
The photograph can be seen below.
