Donaghadee- 9/9/09

people- team mcminn (dan and Drew)
duration- 6.00pm-10.15pm
weather- georgeous- calm, mild, dry- just nice
tide- last of the drop, low and start of push
rigs- pulleys, 1 up 1 downs and flappers, macky feathers and a conger rig
baits- mackerel and black lug
results- drew- pollack, pouting, whiting, coalies and codling
myself- gurnard, pouting, codling, pollack and coalies

report- on tuesday drew gave me a ring to see if i was fishing, he asked me if i fancied trying the dee on wednesday, i accepted the offer so he picked me up about 6ish and we were soon there. drew started with some whiting and codling, my first fish was a grey gurnard (my 1st for 2009) followed by some small codling, as it began to get dark the fish began to get bigger and the pollack and pouting started, we had good sport up until about 9.30 or so and it began to quieten down. all in all a great session and i will hopefully get back down very soon.

A nice mix there Dan, you certainly are getting your fair amount of Codling.

theres been a few haddock lately, the gurnard was the first i've had from the dee.

good to bump into you boys down the dee .
after you left the pout kicked in and a haddock and a poor cod ,we left at midnite .
if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]
