West Galway 11th Sept

#1 Post by nige »

People:steve conor and myself Bradan joined us for an hour or so

Duration:5-10pm

Tide:high at 10.40

Weather:sunny and warm until the sun went down

Bait:mack and sandeel

Rigs:various

Results:fish :)

Report: I picked up steve after dealing with alot of traffic- took over and hour to travel the 22miles to steves house. Steve was 1st in with a fish then conor. After that we were kept busy :) I even managed to get a strap conger on a size 6 hook :D

Steve finished up with ballan wrasse, rockcook wrasse, goldshinny, shanny, pollock, coalfish and pouting oh and he got a Go Faster Wrasse too stripe down the side  . I had ballan and goldshinny, pollock, coalfish, poor cod, strap conger, and tompot. I know conor had pollock and a few coalfish after that he will have to add his own list. Bradan joined us for a while as he was digging bait close by gave him my rod to get in on the action but alas the fishys wouldn't play ball for him...
