forming a sea A.club

been thinking of forming a S.A.C. with some mates and need some help/advice.
1 cost if any?
2 insurance where to get /cost of same?
3. how to form?
4 we intend to use a small (14ft) punt to gather bait is /can this be insured /cost?
5 is there any rules/ regulations?
6 is it worthwhile?
7 Tips if any on how to hold comps./sponsership/development/
ect.?

Just get your posse together and go fishing! :D

You could have a look at the Club Forum on this site and have a word by pm with the lads on there, they've just been going as a club less than a year so they should be able to tell you about insurance, competitions etc.

have a look around your own area first and see if a club all ready exists.
check the irish federation of sea anglers web site for club secretaries in your provance. I have see new clubs been formed which end up drawing members from existing club in that area with the result of that these clubs end up going to the wall.
