Report: john and i decided to pop out to one our new marks just down the road kikkat strand, after catching a few decent hounds here a few weekes ago and with denis nailing a right few on the weekend hopes whee high. we launched our crabs out and waited, meanwhile we had both set up a scratching for messing around in close, i drew first blood with a good flounder, easily 40cm
and followed that lad up with two fine bass in 4 casts, some lads are just born brilliant. things where looking good but still no hounds, a good bite had me hopes up but an easy retrieve lead to a bloody dogfish. john then missed a good bite. pity, but soon afterwards was into his first specimen of the night, a good fish that went 7lbs on the scale, the following a slightly small fish of 5lbs, and would you have i got one on my last cast 
you seem to come up trumps where ever you guys fish
