People:saltydog and myself aided by crutches...

Duration:4 hrs (a rather short session for salty)

Tide:finished at high

Weather:windy with rain (typical summer weather)

Bait: yes

Rigs: various

Results: 4 ray, 2 dogs and 1 tub gurnard




Report:
headed out due to utter boredom and met salty in town... decided to venture to a local mark but it was packed with kite surfers..
so west we went.. and looked about for a mark that i could access , until we came upon a little spot that looked promising and not a stones throw from a more popular local mark..

rods weere set and bites were had.. conor was first up with a doggie then the tub gurnard.. then i picked up a little doggie (blank saved for the year again), then conor managed to pull out a nice ray.. and not wanting to be outdone, i managed a small ray too.. happy days.. and just as light was fading fast too, time to pack, and conor managed to pull out a double of ray.. jammy ^&*$...

good to finally get out again, crutches and marsh dont mix too well though :? :? :?

Good to see you back at it and back in with a thornie to boot nice to get the target species... the tub was a nice surprise another species of the list.... i can sense a fair few sessions coming up over the next while :wink: just hope your doctor is reading this....
