people- my grandad and myself
duration- 7.15pm-9.00pm
tide- push (i think)
weather- lovely
bait- lug
rigs- 1 jup 1 downs, lures and 2 hook flappers
results- me 23 small codling and 2 coalies
grandad- nil

report- my grandad offered to take me to one of our secret spots, i accepted the offer and we were on our way by 7pm. got there about 15 mins later, first cast resulted in a codling, as did the next, etc, etc, etc. i had a bite every cast from small codling to jjust under half a pound, but mostly a couple of ounces, i then got a double with a small codling and a coalie of about 1 pound, i then got another coalie of about 1.5lbs. i ended the session with another small codling. all in all a nice wee sesh and look forward to my next session.

Great session Dan, I know how your Grandad feels 25-0 :shock: did you not give him any tips. I got a great tip the last time I went fishing, I was told to look right and left before I crossed the road :oops:

species 2009, whiting :(, three beard rockling,.shore rockling, 5 beard rockling, flounder, lesser spotted dogfish,bullhuss, dab,bass(13), more whiting : pollock,poorcod,pouting, sea trout(the dodder!)brown trout,sea scorpion,mackerel, silver eel,
topknot:), cod, conger, corkwing wrasse,smooth hound.
