inishowen beach 30.08.09

#1 Post by last cast lad »

People:me and mick

Duration:9.00pm-1.30am

Tide:low at 10.30

Weather:rained all evening

Bait:lug, mackeral, bluey

Rigs:flapper, pulley,

Results:2 coalfish, 6 flounder

Report:arrived on a mild and dry evening, got set up just before dark and then the rain started, over the course of our evening the rain did try to ease but mostly it just get heavier.
I was first to save "our" blank with a 18cm flounder, then we both had small coalfish, and the flounder thankfully got bigger as the evening wore on, 20cm, 21cm, 29cm, 30cm and my new pb 42cm.
