Millisle- 30th august 2009

people- conor and team mcminn (drew and myself)
duration- 3.30pm-8.30pm
tides- push
weather- not too bad, rain at the start, went over after a while
rigs- pulleys, flappers and 1 up 1 downs with sizes 6-2/0
baits- mack, lug and white rag
results- me- 1 corkwing wrasse, 12 codling, 2 coalies, 3 shannies :D
conor- 1 codling :lol:
drew- 1 codling and flounder :shock:

report- conor and i decided to try millisle again today, so we got the bait sorted and the gear sorted and headed down. it was quiet til about 5.30pm when i pulled a wrasse on conors rod while he was heading up to his house, he tried to claim it as his, i then got a few little codling followed by a shanny, this was then followed by a double shot of shanny and coalie, followed by another coalie, followed by a shanny. i phoned drew and told him how good the fishing was. i then got some more codling. when drew came down he hit one of my bites resulting in a double shot with a codling and a flounder. i then got some more small codling.
lugworm got all the fish apart from 2 shannies which were taken on mackerel strip.
all in all a brrrrilliant session with a great variety of species and plenty of fish. :wink:

yea havnt had a blank on millisle for over 2 weeks atleast, and that is fishing almost every day at it.

Yeah, I borrowed Dans Rod for a Brief spell and managed a Flounder/Codling double, sweet....

Nice one Dan, just watched the video and already you are better at casting and fishing than uncle Drew. Even the fish you are catching are bigger than he catches, we used to call him the fish paedo :lol:
