Report:after attending a birthday party at bray co.wicklow we go straight to britta's bay,armed with one rod so that i can concentrate on my target species the BASS...arrived at the southside the wind blowing hard,1st cast lug worm about 5 meters after 20 minutes nothing happend.second cast rag and squid cocktail little bit further nothing happend and the rest is nothing to be honest ,my kids start quarrel about the ball plus the wind blowing hard i can't detect any sign of bite.so we decided to packup and go home empty handed

Sligo Aughris harbor:
after a blank session leftover baits from britta's bay to be used,caught loads of wrasse and 2 new species and my new pb wrasse 4+lbs

hard luck on not bagging your bass ,i took a look at brittas on my way to annyreily and decided not to bother ,it fishes best with a surf and is normally barren otherwise if your coming down this way again pm me and i,ll suss out where might produce for ya well done on your wrasse he,s a stonker
