Donaghadee Pier, Co Down, 27/08/09

People: Dan, Drew

Duration: 7.30pm - 10.00pm

Tide: Dropping

Weather: Windy! Dry though.

Bait: Welsh Peeler, Mackeral

Rigs: 3 Hook Scratchers, Size 1's and 2's.

Results: Coalies, Pollack, Pouting, Shore Rockling, Codling, and a Haddock all for around 50 or 60 Fish.

Report:

Well I was allowed out for the night, so I gave Dan a shout and we were soon on our way to the Dee.
Fishing started well with a wee pollack each, and I sort of lost track after that, Loads and Loads of fish, coming in singles and doubles, Lots of Pouting, and Pollack.

Best fish of the night was a Coaly of around 1.5lb, I got it 8) Good to get back out to the Dee good amount of species, including a rogue Haddock, Fun stuff.

was a great session loads of flobbers though :lol: :lol: i had one, was probably smaller than my hook. :shock: :oops: when i threw it in it seemed to think it could fly. :lol: :lol:

Nice fishing guys.

We've fished the Dee a few times this year in the mornings. We've been avoiding the evening due to bad experiences last year with the Mackie Bashers.

What was it lake when you were down. With fishing like that we be tempted to give it a go.
